Visit our studio here at the northern tip of the Outer Hebrides and one of the first things you will notice is the bright, cheerful, friendly atmosphere and the wonderful views to Port of Ness harbour, the ever-changing sea, and in the distance the mainland mountains of Sutherland. At the same time you will meet the quiltmaker at work, mostly on commissions, and see a range of her products.
But perhaps you are not able to visit us in person and need to find out and discuss what we do by telephone or e-mail. This is easily arranged.
We produce handcrafted, patchwork quilts, throws, wall-hangings and cushions as well as smaller items such as book-covers, placemats, tea cosies, cafetiere cosies and potholders.
Our speciality is satisfying individual choice. We are able to offer you any of the quilted items as a unique product by meeting your personal requirements for size, design, colours, fabrics and clan tartans.
We use no mass-produced techniques. You can be assured of the highest attention to detail and quality. Our delivery times reflect this.
You will be able to enjoy your own choice of quilt from the Hebridean islands where ideas and colours are constantly suggested by weather, landscape, skyscape and the story of the people.
